My best friend Lori

Tuesday, August 05, 2008

Having friends is important but having a best friend is even more important especially for a kid like myself who just started school (not day care mind you), being the youngest kid in class and accepting my place on the macho scale somewhere between eunuch and average Joe, sure makes it even harder. Lori, whether she knows it or not, has helped me adjust to this whole new concept of leaving my parents and home for 10 hours each day much easier. For some reason, I find comfort in being close to her and more often than not, we're usually bundled together...like this picture of me and her at Green Garden Farm where we went on a hay ride, saw birds of prey, pet rabbits and much much more. We had a blast and with Daddy being here with me sure made it that much sweeter.
